Last week was a good old Adirondack week. Monday's temperatures were in the high 40's and by the end of the week they were well below zero with high winds. It does seem good to have the days getting a little longer each day.
Fred and Ruth Allen from New Jersey were happy to be able to spend a few days in the Adirondacks and at their River Home. Fred enjoyed having venison and pancakes with his father, Earl Allen on Friday morning.
Eric(Sal) Caselli and Amber Dunkley are proud parents to a baby girl, Nora Lynn Caselli. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 10 oz. and was 18.5 in. long.
The ladies bible study on Edwards Hill Rd. will now be on Thursday mornings at 9 a.m. Many are enjoying the study. They want to extend the study to all women in the area. Everyone is welcome.
Sunday afternoon was family fun day at Little Gore. It was a free tubing day. Despite the cold, everyone enjoyed the day out.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Roblee family.
Community Compassion met on Monday night. There was a lot to discuss after not having a meeting for several months.
Remember the ones you love on Valentine's Day. Have a heart for everyone you care about.
Patricia Roberts is happy to have her son, Adam and his girlfriend here from California to spend a week. They are enjoying the snow.
