CHESTERTOWN - North Warren's Margo Broderick was on fire in a girls basketball game Dec. 22, leading her team with 20 points to defeat Corinth by a score of 48 to 26.

The Cougar victory was launched by an energetic 16-2 first quarter scoring onslaught.

Kiera Warner had 10 points and seven assists in the victory, and Chantal Millington added 10 rebounds plus three points. Morgan Tennyson, who scored four points, played efficient defense inside the paint. Lindsey Meade contributed five points, followed by Jenna Monroe, Alana Kilcullen and Cassie Maday with two each.

For Corinth, Ashley Marcotte had a team-high nine points and Emily Marcotte sunk two 3-pointers.
