Man seeks shelter from cold, is arrested

• Claude Kuzmiak was granted an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal on an old case with a condition not to harass or menace anyone for a year.

• Richard T. Gallagher, Old Schroon Road, Pottersville was granted a $749 judgement against James J. Bliss of State Route 28, Warrensburg, doing business as B.M.J. Construction. Gallagher said Bliss destroyed his brand-new Radisson canoe while doing some work excavating and cutting trees. Gallagher said Bliss promised to bring him a new replacement canoe in a few days, took his damaged canoe, but never returned with a new one as promised.

• Starr Rafferty received a judgement against Mary Rabine for $2,840 for four month's unpaid rent of a mobile home at 1225A Schroon River Road, and an eviction warrant was granted.

• Also, Glenda Duell was granted a judgement of $670 against Shawn Ritchie and Amanda Mills based on one month's unpaid rent at 1288A Schroon River Road in Warrensburg.

• The case of Alexander J. McAlonen, 17, Bartman Road, Bakers Mills, was adjourned to Jan. 12. He is accused of the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana, based on a Nov. 14 incident in a traffic stop on County Route 40, when police found a black box in his vehicle containing marijuana and a smoking device that had some residue of the substance.

• Dale K. Rounds, 47, Alden Avenue, Warrensburg, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident based on a Nov. 5 incident. Police said at 6:56 a.m., Rounds failed to yield right of way at an intersection on Main Street.

• The case of Carrie McComsey, 34, North Creek and Route 9N, Lake George, was adjourned to Jan. 26. She is charged with the misdemeanor of third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation based on a Nov. 9 traffic stop at 11:51 a.m. on State Route 28, police said.

• The cases of Melissa DiPasquale, Bridget Giernacky, Laurie Kennedy, Wayne Kennedy Jr., Wayne Kennedy Sr., and John Peluso were adjourned to Jan. 12. The case of Delilah Fish and Kevin Pickett were adjourned to Jan. 26. The case of Carrie Rabideau was adjourned to Feb. 9.
