Local man admits to conducting drug deals, faces prison

PLATTSBURGH - A city man has admitted to selling crack and cocaine to local drug buyers.

After a raid took place at a Miller Street apartment where 36-year-old Wiley Goodwin and an accomplice Dante Harris were found with 48 bags of crack-cocaine and four containing powder cocaine all reaching a street value of $6,000. Police also found $1,000 after searching their apartment.

Goodwin has pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He will return to court April 8 for sentencing and faces up to five years in jail. Harris faces up to three years in prison after his sentencing Feb. 24. The 32-year-old accomplice has pleaded guilty to felony charges of drug possession.
