Chamber mixer planned

TICONDEROGA - The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce December After Business Mixer will be held on Thursday, Dec. 16, at the Hancock House located next to the Liberty Monument.

The Hancock House is home to the Ticonderoga Historical Society.

The Ticonderoga Historical Society will host the event at the Hancock House from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Sponsors providing door prizes will be Glens Falls National Bank and The Wagon Wheel Restaurant.

TACC's After Business Mixers" provide a networking forum for area business people in addition to showcasing the site of the host, according to Matt Courtright, chamber executive director.

All, chamber members, area businesses, and their employees are invited to attend.

"Join the TACC for a night of networking and a chance to see the Hancock house during their Festival of Trees," Courtright said. "Four floors of the elegant mansion are decorated for the holiday season and will also be available for viewing through Jan. 1. The Hancock House is open between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

"This will be a wonderful event and not only an opportunity to network but to also enjoy and come together for the holiday season," he added. "Be sure to bring business cards for door prizes and to give out throughout the evening. I invite everyone to take advantage of this and all networking opportunities."

Although an RSVP is not required, they are appreciated and can be made by calling the TACC at 585-6619.

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce currently serves members from Ticonderoga, Putnam, Hague, Crown Point, Lake George, Port Henry, Whitehall, and Shoreham, Vt.
