NORTH CREEK - Paula F. Olesheski and Donald J. Stadler were recently honored for their dedication to carrying mail around the Johnsburg region.
Sonja L. Finch, postmaster at the North Creek Post Office, thanked the postal carriers with her congratulations and pins from the national Safety Council for their years of service with no unpreventible accidents.
"They are both dependable and safety conscious employees," she said.
Olesheski has been serving as a postal carrier for the past 29 years, working through many of the historical changes in the organization including supervisors and co-workers.
"Through it all, she has been a pillar of continuity and an exceptional employee for the postal service and the North Creek residents that she serves so well," said Finch.
Stadler has been serving the North Creek area for the past nine years and also gives up his time to substitute in surrounding communities such as Indian Lake, Minerva and Olmstedville.
"He is a reliable and personable employee," said Finch.
Finch acknowledged the local community is fortunate to have these carriers serving them.
"I am lucky to have them on my team," she said. "We thank them for being who they are and doing what they do so well."
