Annual Highway Worker's Luncheon set

Every year town residents are invited to participate in a special day set aside to show appreciation to our highway crew for keeping our roads open all year. It's been a busy year with all the heavy rains, high winds and washouts.

To thank these workers, townfolk honor the road crew with a hot lunch. This year's event is to be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 14 at the Town Hall.

Event organizers need donations of food dishes - especially hot entrees and side dishes. Call 623-9961 and commit to bringing a food dish!

Those folks still in need of a Christmas gift, there are still a few "Adirondack Gold" books available from a resident of Valley Road. Call 623-9595 for details on these books, written by Perky Granger.
