Winter Sports Preview - NAC Varsity Wrestling

The Northern Adirondack Central School varsity wrestling team, coached by Jared Peryea and assisted by Jamie Gilmore and Adam Trombley, come back from a 4-4 conference record in the 2009-2010 season.

The team also returns section 7 champion senior Mike Riley, who has 95 career wins.

The rest of the team includes Brandon Edwards (96 lbs.), Scott Kellett (96 lbs.), Max Marte (103 lbs.), Jared Trombley (112 lbs.), Justin Kellett (125 lbs.), Kaleb Sample (125 lbs.), Hunter Carpenter (130 lbs.), Matt Carter (135 lbs.), Collin LaBombard (140 lbs.), Jackson Sunderland (145 lbs.), Dustin Gardner (152 lbs.), Forrest Carpenter (160 lbs.), Matt Lashway (171 lbs.), Garrett Gern (189 lbs.), Mike Riley (215 lbs.), and Ethan Bombard (215 lbs.).

As the season progresses, this Bobcat team looks like it will compete with the best in the state," said Peryea. "After Christmas, the lineup should fill in nicely to allow for some flexibility and movement of people. A mix of experience and youth will make these Bobcats dangerous come Sectional time.
