BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE - Schools and students of all ages in Warren, Washington, and northern Saratoga Counties will benefit from a grant in the amount of $5,000 received by the Adirondack Museum from the Glens Falls Foundation.
The funds will be used for class visits to the museum at, for hands-on outreach programs brought directly to individual classrooms, or to offset the cost of transportation for financially challenged schools. Glens Falls Foundation scholarships will be available to schools in the tri-county area only.
The Glens Falls Foundation is a non-profit community trust that provides grants to civic and charitable organizations and scholarships to individuals. It is funded by bequests, contributions, and memorial gifts. Since its inception in 1939, the Glens Falls Foundation has provided approximately $6.8 million in grants and scholarships.
