PHS's Booster Club has sent out a mailing in hopes of raising money to help support the school's athletes. Donations will help with the current projects of installing a new backstop for the baseball field (the existing one is over 50 years old), the purchase and installation of a new, modern scoreboard (the existing one is over 30 years old), and other equipment needed to provide a quality athletics program for years to come. The club is a registered 501C3 non-profit organization, so donations are tax deductible. Any donation over $50 will automatically enroll you as a member of the club. The club would like to thank you in advance for your contributions in supporting this undertaking to support the costly finances of maintaining a competitive, safe, and functional athletics program. For further information contact Una Jean Capman at 802-287-9007 or Chrispin White at 802-287-4330.
Two bingo gatherings will be held at the Modern Woodmen of America in Wells. The start times are Thurs., Dec. 2, at 7 and Sun., Dec. 5, at noon. The proceeds will be put towards a new PHS score clock on the football and baseball field.
