The Ticonderoga High School Class of 1955 gathered over the July 17 weekend to celebrate its 55th reunion. Forty people - classmates and their guests - attended, traveling from Maine, Rhode Island, Florida, California, New Jersey, Connecticut and various towns in New York State. The weekend started with 4:30 p.m. Saturday Mass at St. Mary's for George Burroughs and the deceased classmates, followed by a social hour and dinner at Emerald's Restaurant at the Ticonderoga Country Club. On Sunday morning, Paul and Mary Lloyd Burroughs hosted a brunch at their home.
