SCHROON LAKE - The Schroon-North Hudson Historical Society is having a "Rug Show," Saturday, Aug. 21 from 12:30 - 4 p.m. at its museum and grounds on Main St. at the north end of the village.
Joan Mohrmann, a Historical Society Board member and several ladies who all have attended Green Mountain Rug School, Pearl McGown Schools, teacher workshops and rug hook-ins, will share and demonstrate fine rug hooking, shading, dyeing, wide cuts and fanciful embellishing. There will be displays of primitive and folk-art rugs and handbags. Please join us for a relaxing afternoon.
It is free to the public.
