Churches unite for Bible school

CROWN POINT - The churches of Crown Point will join together to offer a Community Vacation Bible School.

Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Crown Point will host the school.

"The parishes, who in the past have held separate and successful Bible school programs, decided to share the joy, the staff and the opportunity to reach into the community with a positive Christian program for local children pre-kindergarten through early teen," explained Rev. David Hirtle of the First Congregational Church of Crown Point.

The program is scheduled to begin on Monday, Aug. 16, and run through Friday, Aug. 20, 9 a.m. to noon daily.

"Children who attend will experience a meaningful daily lesson, music, crafts, fellowship and snacks," Hirtle said. "This will be a program that will have a lasting impression on your child."

To register contact Sister Carol Daul at 597-3924 or mail a child's name, address, age and phone number to Sister Carol Daul, PO Box 479, Crown Point 12928.
