The community turned out in large numbers April 25 as the March of Dimes hosted the annual March for Babies at Plattsburgh's PARC Oval. The event raised money for the nonprofit organization whose mission is "to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality." Those who couldn't attend but would still like to make a donation may call 453-0474.
