Animals at RCHS love old bedding

Now that the weather is getting nicer, many people clean out closets and do some Spring cleaning. If you find old bedding or towels, please think about bringing them to the Rutland County Humane Society (RCHS). They make great bedding for the animals and keep them cozy and comfortable while they're here.

The animals especially love comforters, blankets, sheets and towels. Thanks for your continued support and for thinking of the animals. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 802-483-6700.

Trilby

2 year old. Spayed Female. Jack Russell Terrier mix.

I am a funny and feisty girl who enjoys a good game of fetch. I am looking for an active home with a lot going on as I am a girl on the go. I know sit and down and I have pretty good leash manners so you can take me with you when you are out and about.

Roxy

5 year old. Neutered Male. Beagle.

I am a friendly Beagle who takes life as it comes . . .lately it has come with too many snacks as I am on the chubby side and looking for someone who will take me along on a lot of long leash walks. My nose needs exercise as much as I do. A fenced in yard will also make life easy on me.

Lou

6 year old. Spayed Female. Domestic Short Hair Calico.

My previous family had to move and unfortunately I was not permitted to go along. I am a loveable and playful kitty who has lived with dogs so I would fit into most homes very nicely.

Calla

1.5 year old. Spayed Female. Domestic Short Hair Dilute Tortoiseshell.

My previous owners could not take care of me any longer because of their health. I can be a little shy at first but be patient and you will be pleased with the results. If you are looking for a lap kitty I am the one for you.
