Adirondack Museum Receives Sandy Hill Foundation Support

BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE - The Adirondack Museum has recently received a donation in the amount of $2,000 from the Sandy Hill Foundation of Hudson Falls. The gift will be used to support many of the museum's programs for area schools and educators.

The funds will be used specifically for schools in Washington, Warren, and Saratoga Counties, providing scholarship assistance for Museum Outreach classes as well as Museum Educator led programs at the museum itself.

The Adirondack Museum will receive the funding in two installments: the first in 2010 and the second in 2011.

"We are so grateful to the Trustees of the Foundation for their generosity," said Susan Dineen, Adirondack Museum marketing director.

The Sandy Hill Foundation is a small private foundation established in 1953 exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary, and educational purposes serving New York State's Warren, Washington, and Saratoga Counties.
