The Vergennes Opera House will host an indoor "Sidewalk Sale" on Saturday April 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For one day only, the 1897 theater will be transformed into a lively indoor market with booths and tables filled with goods from local farmers, artists, and merchants of all kinds.
Envisioned and organized by local merchants and Vergennes Mayor Michael Daniels, proceeds from the rental of booth space will benefit the Friends of the Vergennes Opera House and their efforts to install a sprinkler system.
