Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts calling photographers

BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE- The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts is seeking to attract photographers from across the region in the coming season.

Entries are welcome to its first National Juried Photography Exhibit in collaboration with the Adirondack Photography Institute. Photographers 18 and older, working in all mediums will be accepted for the exhibit, titled, 'Diversity Through Many Lenses'.

The exhibit will take place Aug. 25- Oct.10. The entry deadline is May 24. Don't miss this exciting event, where over $2000 of cash prizes will be awarded. The gallery reception will be Sept. 18, from 6 - 7p.m.

The entry fee is $30 for non-members and $20 for members for the first three images, which must be sent digitally. Visit the website www.adirondackarts.org or call 351-7715 for complete submission information.

The Arts Center will also be hosting its Annual Member's Show from May 8 - June 12 with a gallery reception on the last day from 5 - 7 p.m. The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts will be making room on the walls of their galleries to exhibit the fine art of it's members. From the submissions, the Arts Center will exhibit a choice showing, a "best in show" in their front gallery.

The submission deadline is April 25 and there is a two entry limit per member. The walls are open to all mediums, so create away and take your turn in the spotlight.
