Police break up teen drinking party

PUTNAM - Police arrested 14 people at an under-age drinking party in Putnam Sept. 26.

The Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to a call about a party at 12:45 a.m. at 662 Gull Bay Road.

Charged with misdemeanor under-age drinking were Samantha Adamson, age 18, of Ticonderoga; Kaleb Bruce, 17, of Ticonderoga; Derek Brighenti 18 of Putnam; Mathew Bussey, 18, of Putnam; Carson Granger, 16, of Putnam' Geraldine Granger, 18, of Putnam; Shane T. Graser, 18, of Troy; Shane King, 18 of Hague; Jonathan Molina, 18, of Ticonderoga; Lauren Morrison, 18, of Ticonderoga; Michael Pockett, 18, of Ticonderoga; Elizabeth Smith, 18, of Putnam and Kristopher Wilson, 18, of Putnam

William R. James, 21, of 119 Delano Road in Ticonderoga, was also arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a minor, a misdemeanor, police said.

All were released and received tickets to appear in Putnam town court on Oct. 20. An investigating is still under way.
