TICONDEROGA - The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership promotion committee has announced plans are under way for a Halloween Fest along Montcalm Street Friday, Oct. 30, for young children up to 5th grade.
It will be held 3:30-5 p.m.
"Many downtown businesses will be displaying a pumpkin in their windows to invite area children and their families to visit Ticonderoga's historic downtown to participate in a fun, safe trick or treat event," said Susan Rathbun, partnership chairwoman.
Additional activities slated for this year's event include a Halloween costume parade on the Community Building lawn and a display of pumpkins decorated by local school children.
"All events are free of charge as we welcome area families to experience downtown Ticonderoga at its best," Rathbun said.
