Rattlers to open season

MINEVILLE - The Adirondack Rattlers, a first year, non-for-profit team in the New England Football League, will open its season Saturday, Sept. 26, at Linney Field.

The Rattlers will face the Connecticut Ravens. at 4 p.m.

Ticket prices are $7 at the gate, $4 for student purchased at the school, $4 for military personnel and $4 for school employees. Police and emergency personnel in uniform will be admitted free. Firefighters will get $1 off admission.

There will be concessions at all games.

Other games include Oct. 3 at Manchester, N.H., Oct. 17 at Mineville, Oct. 24 at Connecticut and Oct. 31 at Mineville.

The Rattlers will host a food drive and radio station 97.5 will broadcast at the 7 p.m. Oct. 31 game at Linney Field.

Jeff Lamkins is the coach for the team.

Players include Glenn MacDougal, Mike Gaddor, Mike Lewis, Dexter Manley, Justin Gaddor, Bob McDonald, Matt Gaddor, Joseph Gaddor, Steven Colliard, Tyler Lewis, Keith Murray, Steve Burlingame, William Ball, Rodd Blair, Brad Nelson, Pat Murray, Bill Welch, Thomas Evens, David Gale, Travis Sharp, Brandon Hundson and Chris Collutti.
