Area teams begin the fall season on a winning note

After a slow start to their season, the Orange outshot Wells 21-8.

"We've had a lot of offense opportunities and have been getting real good chances," Orange coach Dave Olbert said. "We've just had a lot of trouble finishing."

Merrill Pine netted the team's first goal early, but was answered by Wells' Samantha Bartholf, who tied it at 1-1 in the second half.
