Foodies rejoice! There's a new kitchen shop in the area, Thyme to Cook, just off Interstate 91 Exit 6 on Route 5 north in Rockingham.
Co-owners Leslie Marston and Lisa Dufresne opened the store on August 18 in the same historic barn that houses The Barn Cat gift shop, next to Leslie's Restaurant and the Tavern at Rockingham.
The store features a variety of cooking tools, including Wusthof knives, All Clad, LeCreuset, Cuisinart, Swiss Diamond, Chicago Metallic, Nordicware and more. The shop will have a demo area where products and gadgets can be tried out, and it will also carry gourmet foods like Stonewall Kitchen and Lake Champlain Chocolates.
Leslie's husband, Chef John Marston, will also be offering cooking classes in the restaurant's new open kitchen.
Visit www.thymetocookvt.com or call 463-3588 with class suggestions.
