Shop in the warm autumn air this Saturday, as the West River Farmers Market continues its season.
Fresh this week, we have pumpkins and winter squash, potatoes and turnips, carrots and an array of other winter staples ready for you to take home and enjoy. Lamb, beef, pork, award winning cheeses, maple syrup, and honey are also abundant at market.
Plus, Flood Brook School will be serving up grass-fed, pulled-pork sandwiches for a fundraiser lunch, with all the fixings provided by local farms and cooked by local chefs.
So come and enjoy an atmosphere unlike any grocery store with over 45 Vermont vendors and live entertainment from local favorites, The Bondville Boys.
The West River Farmer's Market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, located on Routes 11 East and 100 North in Londonderry at the blinking light.
And just a reminder, we are now a dog-free market to insure the health and safety of our patrons and products, so please leave the pups at home.
