Antique Show and Sale at the Adirondack Museum

BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE - The Adirondack Museum will host its annual Antiques Show and Sale on Sept. 19 and 20.

Forty-six of the country's top antiques dealers will offer premium examples of vintage furnishings and collectibles, including regional roadside advertising and painted American country furniture - also known as "rustic country."

The Adirondack Museum will be open from 10 am - 5 pm on each day of the show. Visitors will be able to enjoy the Antiques Show and Sale as well as the museum's extensive exhibits for the cost of regular general admission.

The Lake Placid Lodge will host a hospitality tent, providing a space for Antique Show visitors to rest and enjoy snacks or beverages.

A shipping service will be available on both days of the show. Porters will be on site to assist with heavy or cumbersome items.

Rod Lich, Inc. of Georgetown, IN, will manage the show. Rod and his wife Susan Parrett have 32 years of experience organizing premier antique shows and sales.

The weekend will begin with the exclusive Antique Show Preview Benefit on Sept. 18 from 2 - 5 p.m. Browse for treasures surrounded by blazing fall foliage. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and beverages while supporting the museum's exhibitions and programs. Preview Benefit tickets are $100 and include admission to the Antiques Show and Sale. The Adirondack Museum will be closed to the public on on the day of the benefit.
