Stoddard compiles map

Well-known writer and geographer/photographer Seneca Ray Stoddard of Glens Falls has begun work compiling a new map of the entire Adirondack region, which will be completed in 1910. The new map will be put together from surveys made by government and state engineers and from information obtained from guides, residents of nearby sections and park owners in the great woods.
