After the Lady Orange set the stage last week, the Indian Lake/Long Lake boys joined them with a Division III title as they toped Crown Point on Oct. 14. Jaguar field hockey had more trouble on the turf at the Adirondack Sports Complex on Oct. 16 as they fell to Hoosick Falls. Both the girls and boys Minerva\Newcomb Mountaineers ended their seasons this week with Johnsburg soccer.

INDIAN LAKE - The Orange rose to the top of the MVAC Division III after their 4-2 win over Crown Point on Oct. 14.
Jesse Benton's goal in the second half broke a 2-all tie and helped lift Indian Lake/Long Lake to a win and a championship. The Orange took a 2-0 lead in the first half with goals by Jordan Wallace and Hank Evatt.
The Panthers battled back for the tie with two goals by Will Glebus.
Benton brought the lead back to the Orange and Matt Moore netted an insurance goal before the final horn.
Indian Lake/Ling Lake held a 32-12 shot advantage, while Zach Ruland made 10 saves in the net. Max Mesones stopped 16 shots for the Panthers.
LEWIS - Ben Goff and Tanner Cassavaugh scored two goals apiece as the Lions defeated Johnsburg on Oct. 14.
Evan Drew also scored for Elizabethtown-Lewis in the first half. The Lions had secured a 3-0 lead by halftime.
Elizabethtown-Lewis outshot Johnsburg 28-1 and Dylan Wolfe boasted 11 saves.
WESTPORT - Nathan Gay scored three goals and assisted on another as the Eagles gained a victory over Minerva\Newcomb on Oct. 14.
Nik Reynolds began Westport's journey to a win with his first varsity goal.
Tim Fabin tallied the lone goal for the Mountaineers.
The Eagles kept a 38-11 shot advantage and Jesse Stevens made seven saves in the net for the victors.
