Computer classes to be taught

PORT HENRY - Two computer classes for people age 50 and older will be held at the Sherman Free Library in Port Henry on Thursday, Oct. 29.

Computer basics will be from 9 a.m.-noon that day. Internet and e-mail basics will be from 1-4 p.m. The classes are limited to five people. Lap-top computers will be supplied by the Clinton-Essex-Franklin library system, so each person will have their own computer to work and learn on. These classes are free and are supported by Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.

People can sign up at the library or by calling 546-7461.
