The Springfield Humane Society's Bazaar Committee is soliciting good, clean, saleable items for its 63rd Fall Bazaar which will be held on Saturday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The First Congregational Church in Springfield.
There will also be a bake sale and corn chowder luncheon with sandwiches and assorted homemade pies served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Jill Markert will accept items for the Bazaar at 57 Reservoir Road in North Springfield until Wednesday, October 14.
Many people are needed to price things, move boxes of bazaar items to the church prior to the sale, set up tables, work the day of the sale, and help clean up afterward.
