Moriah 34, Malone 20
Moriah got seven interceptions from its defense - four by Eric Baker - as it toppled Malone, 34-20.
Ron Schofield, Ryan Mascarenas and Ralph Schofield also had picks for the Vikings, who rebounded to win after two straight overtime losses.
Ron Schofield rushed for 155 yards and four touchdowns to pace the Moriah offense.
Nick Gilbo ran for 64 yards and a TD for the winners.
Schofield scored on an 8-yard run and a 90-yard kick off return for Moriah, which was tied, 12-12, at the half.
Gilbo crashed into the end zone early in the third period and Schofield added a 29-yard scoring gallop as the Vikings broke the game open in the third quarter.
Schofield closed out the Moriah scoring with a 23-yard TD run in the final stanza.
Ticonderoga 35, AVCS 15
Ticonderoga romped past AuSable Valley, 35-15, in its homecoming game.
Bryant Austin ran for 148 yards and two touchdowns, while Robert Kearns added 216 yards total offense and two TDs to pace the Sentinels.
Austin tallied on a 2-yard run and Kearns added a48-yard TD sprint as Ti grabbed a 14-0 advantage in the first period.
After AVCS cut the margin to 14-7, Kearns returned the kick off 80 yards for a score and Austin ran for the conversion giving the Sentinels a 22-8 halftime lead.
Todd Carr added a 2-yard scoring plunge and Austin had a 24-yard TD run as Ti salted the game away in the third period.
