Want to decrease your home heating costs, but aren't sure where to start? If you are tired of a cold or drafty house, and are wondering what you can do to change this, join us for a Button Up Vermont workshop at the Springfield Town Library on Wednesday, December 2, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
This workshop, hosted by Springfield's Energy Coordinators and Energy Support Group is free and open to the public.
A specially-trained presenter will lead the workshop in presenting a myth-busting slideshow, answer your questions, provide free educational resources (including a do-it-yourself video), as well as information on available technical and financial resources. You will leave the workshop with cost-effective tips for making simple improvements that can save a substantial amount of money on this season's heating costs.
The workshop sponsors include: Central Vermont Community Action Council, Efficiency Vermont, and the Vermont Energy and Climate Action Network. Funding for the workshops has been provided by the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative.
