Walls came tumbling down

John Donahue and Henry Dunlap of North Creek narrowly escaped fatal injuries recently while they were at work connecting a water pipe in a deep ditch. Without any warning the sides of the ditch caved in and they were entombed.

Several workmen rushed to their aid and with much difficulty dug them out, bruised, lame and sore. Dunlap's ankle was sprained.
