Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) visited Indian Lake over the weekend. She participated in an environmental roundtable and press conference at the Adirondack Museum on Friday, Oct. 30. The panel welcomed Adirondack Council executive director Brian Houseal, Adirondack Mountain Club executive director Neil Woodworth, and Nature Conservancy director of federal government relations David Higby. The group joined the senator to discuss mutual support for clean air and anti-acid rain initiatives. Senator Gillibrand is pictured above with Caroline M. Welsh, director of the Adirondack Museum.
