Mystery Lunch scheduled

TICONDEROGA - The President's Party of the Ticonderoga Festival Guild for 2009 will be a Mystery Lunch on May 23 at Emerald's Restaurant at 11:30 a.m. Marjorie (Jerry) Treadway, Guild president, has arranged with the Red Hat Society to present a murder mystery following the luncheon.

Each year the guild president chooses a special event for the President's Party. Past parties have included Sundaes on Sunday, a Magical Dinner, a family presentation of Willie Wonka, and a garden tour. The original Tour of Homes, now a biennial event slated for Sept. 13, was chosen as the President's Party in 1995.

Tickets for the 2009 party are $17 per person and include the lunch and entertainment. They are available from any board member or by calling 585-6716.
