Classic war movie gets Memorial Day screening

Also appearing with Wayne as themselves are First Lt. Harold Schrier, who led the flag-raising patrol on Iwo Jima, Col. David M. Shoup, later commandant of the Marine Corps and recipient of the U.S. Medal of Honor at Tarawa, and Lt. Col. Henry P. "Jim" Crowe, commander of the Seconnd Battalion Eighth Marines at Tarawa, where he earned the U.S Navy Cross.

The monthly Friday Night Flicks movie series offers a night out for the whole family, the chance to share in some great films without breaking the bank. Each film will begin at 7:30 on the given day and tickets, available at the door, are $5 each with a $5 discount for families of four.
