TICONDEROGA - There will be a concert and candlelight prayer vigil to raise money, awareness and hope for the safe return of missing Ticonderoga resident Jody King.
The event will be held in Bicentennial Park in Ticonderoga on Saturday, May 23, beginning at 5 p.m.
Local singers will perform at the gazebo for an audience of family, friends and concerned neighbors. Following the concert there will be a prayer service and candlelight vigil.
There will also be a basket raffle featuring goods donated by local residents and businesses. Attendees will be invited to purchase raffle tickets or make a donation to help fund the search for King.
In addition to raising money for the family, the event is being held to increase community and media awareness of the situation, while also providing an opportunity to bring friends, family and community together to pray and maintain hope for King's return.
King has been missing since April 20, when he was traveling for work in Connecticut.
