LAKE GEORGE - A program for employers and how they can help combat domestic violence will be offered this next week.
"Domestic Violence Comes to Work," a free program for area businesses and employers, will be presented Thursday May 21 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. downstairs in the Lake George Village Hall, 26 Old Post Rd.
Jeanne Noordsy of the Domestic Violence Project of Warren & Washington Counties will present a brief program on how domestic violence can affect the workplace, what employers can do to support employees who may be experiencing it, and how to be part of a community-wide solution to the problem. Noordsy will be assisted in role-play presentation by JoAnna Sheridanpf Glens Falls National Bank.
