Pidgeon's Gun Shop and Gunsmithing is celebrating its 50th business anniversary in 2009. The gunshop, located on U.S. Route 7 in New Haven, is a popular destination for hunters and other gun owners. Pictured behind the counter is shop owner David Pidgeon. The Eagle will feature Pidgeon in a special story about the gunshop's half century in business in June.
