Bolton board seeks grant money, sets spring cleanup

A resolution to advertise for bids to replace shingles on the Town Hall roof was passed by the board. The town will accept bids until 4 p.m. May 4 for the bids, which will be opened at the May 5 town board meeting.

Rehm expressed dismay that the existing shingles are failing, because the Town Hall building isn't yet 20 years old.

A resolution was passed to accept a proposal from Eastside Used Auto Parts Inc. to remove metals from the town landfill at $70 per gross ton. Eastside will pay $10 per ton for tin cans and $3 for car batteries.

Bruce Mowery was appointed to the town's Board of Assessment Review, in a term that expires Sept. 30, 2011.
