AAIEP announces conference

LAKE PLACID - The Adirondack Arts in Education Partnership is bringing a day-long professional development opportunity for area educators, artists, school administrators and cultural organization leaders to the Adirondack Region. The conference will take place at the High Peaks Resort, Thursday, May 7 and will feature several prominent presenters in the arts integration field including Amy Chase Gulden of VUE Inc. and Hawley Hussey of the BRIC Contemporary Gallery in Brooklyn. Workshops include topics such as Visual Thinking Strategies, Collaborating Effectively, Finding the Money and Tools for Evaluating Project Impact and Success. Attendees can expect an engaging and interactive experience with opportunities for networking with colleagues around the region.

The conference is co-sponsored by the New York State Alliance for Arts Education and is presented in collaboration with Champlain Valley Educational Services and the North Country Teacher Resource Center. It is also presented in conjunction with members of the Adirondack Arts in Education Roundtable.
