SARANAC LAKE - The Eastern Bluebird, the official bird of New York State, is now arriving back in the North Country after a long winter. Along Lake Champlain they are pairing up and a few nests already have eggs.
Join the NYS Bluebird Society at their 2009 Spring Bluebird Meeting at the Saranac Lake Free Library, Saturday, May 2 from 1-3 p.m. and learn more about our Eastern Bluebird. This event is free to the public and light refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Kathy Linker at 873-6493.
