BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE - Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts has announced a casting call for Forever Wild.
Forever Wild, a compilation of skits and musical numbers written and performed by Adirondack community members, returns June 5 and 6. It is satirical look at life in the Adirondacks through the eyes of Adirondackers.
A casting call will be held at the Arts Center in Blue Mountain Lake on Sunday, April 5, at 6:30 p.m. Anyone interested in participating as cast members, writers or backstage help should attend. People unable to attend but who are interested in participating can call the Arts Center at 352-7715. People with a favorite skit or character they would like to see again should call with suggestions.
People can become a member of Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts for $5. Membership benefits include discounts on workshop fees and performance admissions, use of studio facilities when available, the opportunity to exhibit two pieces of art work in the Members' Show (May 9 - June 13) and more. The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts is a non-profit organization offering classes, workshops, visual, and performing arts to a local, regional, and national audience. Gallery hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m..
