ROUSES POINT - The village of Rouses Point has elected a new trustee and reelected two familiar faces.
Political newcomer, John Cooper, who ran unopposed, won a two-year seat on the board with 88 votes. Incumbent Trustee Brian Jefferson was reelected with 87 votes.
Incumbent village justice John LaBonte was also reelected to a four-year term with 100 votes.
