Troops need

NORTH CREEK - In the North Creek area there are two Girl Scout troops, a total of 12 girls in girl scouting.

"We are in desperate need of volunteer leaders to help keep Girl Scouts in the North Creek area," said Bethanie Baker. "We are looking for adults that are 18 or older that would like to volunteer there time. A small training course is required along with Basic First aid and a CPR course. As of right now, in September we will merge with the North Warren Girl Scouts in order to run effectively."

During the month of March local scouts will be selling their famous Girl Scout cookies. The cookies are still $3.50 a box.

If anyone is interested in becoming a Girl Scout volunteer contact Erin Trombley at the Queensbury service center at 792-0947.

For other information contact Baker at 251-3903.
