Ticonderoga lost its shooting touch at a bad time.

The Sentinels managed just four field goals as they lost to Hoosic Valley, 47-11, in the quarterfinals of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class C girls basketball tournament March 14 in Plattsburgh.

Hoosic Valley advances to this weekend's Final Four.

Hoosic Valley played a tight man-to-man game, forcing turnovers and making Ticonderoga take tough shots.

The Indians led by a 23-4 margin at halftime.

Samantha Anderson led Hoosic Valley with 15 points.
