Ticonderoga and Moriah lost in Section VII boys basketball tournament championship games March 7 at SUNY-Plattsburgh.

Moriah lost to Westport, 47-33, for the second straight year in the Class D championship contest.
Ticonderoga trailed the entire game, although it made a run in the final quarter to get within five points. That's when Seton responded with a spurt of its own to grab a 48-38 lead.
Josh Demarais led the top-seeded and defending sectional champion Sentinels with 10 points.
Jake Taylor chipped in with nine points, Jake Kelly eight and Robert Kearns seven for Ticonderoga.
Kaleb Gohlke tallied a game-high 20 points for Seton Catholic.
Alex Fregeau added 12 points, Tanner LeCuyer 11 and Kyle Kirby seven points and 12 rebounds for the Knights.
Moriah led the entire first half, but Westport pulled away after the intermission for the win.
The Vikings claimed an 11-6 lead in the first quarter and held an 18-17 advantage at the half.
Westport opened the second half with a 14-7 run to grab the lead and closed the game with a 16-6 spurt to secure the victory.
Moriah had a final rally to close within four points, but the Eagles converted 10-of-16 free throws in the final three minutes when Moriah went scoreless.
Westport, 19-1 on the season, is the fifth ranked Class D team in the state. Last season, Westport topped Moriah, 45-19, in the championship game.
Moriah was paced by Hayden Whalen, who scored a team-high 15 points. Tyler Blaise contributed 11.
Bo McKinley finished with a game-high 17 points for Westport. Nathan Gay added eight points and added 15 rebounds.
