"Even though there is a lot of work involved in the project each year, it has proved to be something members and friends of the church gladly help in doing," said Hunter.
"It's a great thing because we get to know each other a little better and it's always a lot of fun," he added. "We're always joking together and talking and talking about community things, national and world events. It's just a good time of getting to know each other better ... doing something to benefit the church and help out in the community."
However, for next winter, Hunter said they will have to look into purchasing wood unless they receive donations.
If interested in donating wood to the church, Hunter may be reached at 493-4585.
