Ti students to present play

TICONDEROGA - Expect some magic when the Ticonderoga Elementary School drama club presents The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

The play, which has been adapted from a Brothers Grimm fairy tale by music teacher Wayne Chagnon, will be performed Wednesday, March 18, at 7 p.m. in the school cafetorium. "We wanted to do something a little different," said Chagnon, who is directing play along with teacher Mike Edson. "The kids seem to love the Grimm's stories, so we thought this would make a good play."

The Sorcerer's Apprentice takes place in a small village in the middle of a large wood, where a disgruntled sorcerer is about to take a new apprentice.
