NORTH CREEK - The bi-annual Jaguar Jamboree will be back at the Johnsburg School gymnasium on Saturday, March 14.
The basket raffle, sponsored by the school Parent-Teacher-Student Association, raises money for school activities.
The doors will open for a preview of the baskets at 6 p.m. and master of ceremonies Budd Dreon will start the drawing at 7p.m.
The donated baskets each have a theme from arts and crafts, gardening, to kids sports. All have an approximate value of $25.
There are speciality baskets with a value of $100.
Most baskets include gift certificates from businesses throughout the area to include Glens Falls and Queensbury shopping areas. There is a minimum of 100 baskets and donations are still being accepted.
The jamboree is open to the general public and there is $3 entry fee which includes 25 tickets. Additional sheets of tickets maybe purchased for $2 and tickets for the specialty baskets are $1 each.
During the preview hour ticket s are placed in the desired basket(s),contestants may place as many tickets as they like towards their basket(s) of choice.
There will be a $1 tree for a 50/50 split raffle.
All proceeds from Jaguar Jamboree go toward school projects, trips, and/or supplies.
