A free nine-week training class for individuals who wish to become hospice and palliative care volunteers in the Rutland, Dorset and Manchester communities is being jointly offered by Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice (RAVNAH) and Rutland Regional Medical Center. The training will begin on Thursday, March 26, from 1 to 4 p.m., and continue every Thursday until May 21. The sessions will be held at RAVNAH, 7 Albert Cree Dr., in Rutland.
